Why Do Solar?
Why are people making such a fuss about Solar Energy? Our planet is experiencing dwindling resources and most of the energy resources that we use now pollute our invironment. Solar energy is : Anywhere the sun shines. Available to all: Conversion from sunlight to electricity is direct, so that bulky mechanical generator systems are unnecessary. Adaptable: PV arrays can be installed quickly and in any size. Photovoltaics can provide tiny amounts of power for watches, large amounts for the electric grid, and everything in between. Free. You can cook with solar energy and warm your water and your home for nothing. ~~~ If you need electricty, once you get set up, your electricty is free, save for maintenance. Non-polluting: The environmental impact is minimal, requiring no water for system cooling and generating no by-products after manufacturing. -----------
