We at Solar Turtle have a mission to bring as much experience as we can to a public forum. We will present this in book form as well free-ware shared on our site. Solar Turtle and Solar Turtle Press have over 60 years of solar background to share and our outlook for the future is very bright.

Our editorial staff is one of the best I have experienced and they look forward to de-mystifying photovoltaics (PV) and other solar applications to allow the general public participation in renewable energy use.

Solar Turtle will share the nuts and bolts of solar in a forum of past experience and insight on new developments. Solar Turtle believes that the information about solar is more valuable than the hardware itself.

The “Bare Knuckle Solar” forum is based on keeping costs low and the utility of it high. It should also be easily supported by someone game enough to build it. This almost dictates that that recycling and good research will be involved.

In our estimation Solar Toby is the perfect person to host this portion because of his past clever application of solar, and other aspects of fending for yourself.
